UNBOUND VOICE
with Ahīshā Dāsī
A Day of Liberation, Play & Sacred Sound
There is a way of using your voice that is not about performance…
not about sounding good…
and not about being judged.
It is natural.
It is expressive.
And it is deeply connected to your inner world.
Unbound Voice is an invitation to rediscover that.
Form a different relationship with your voice
Most people believe their voice is something to be evaluated.
Am I good?
Am I bad?
Do I sound right?
In this space, we gently step out of that pattern.
Your voice becomes:
• a tool for expression
• a pathway into presence
• a bridge between your inner and outer world
By the end of the day, many people experience a simple but powerful shift:
their voice is no longer something to judge…
but something to move through them.
-------------------------------------
This is for you if…
• You feel blocked, self-conscious, or unsure using your voice
• You’ve always thought “I can’t sing”
• You are drawn to chanting, mantra, or devotional practice
• You want to express yourself more freely and honestly
• You are on a spiritual path and curious about sound as a doorway
This is a mixed group space, Beginners are welcome, No experience is needed.
-------------------------------------
This is not about performance
This work is not designed for becoming a performer or improving technique.
It is about:
• releasing inhibition
• reconnecting with natural expression
• allowing emotion, sound, and presence to move together
If you are looking to train as a singer or refine performance skills, this may not be the right space.
-------------------------------------
The journey of the day
The day unfolds as a guided journey.
You will be held through a process of:
• Arrival and grounding into the body and nervous system
• Gentle voice activation and sound exploration
• Releasing the inner “audience” and self-consciousness
• Playful exploration of rhythm, tone, and creativity
• Accessing authentic expression and emotional truth
• Introduction to mantra and devotional sound
• A full closing Kirtan experience
Each stage builds naturally, allowing you to open at your own pace.
-------------------------------------
Voice as liberation
When the voice is held back, expression in life is often held back too.
Through this work, people often experience:
• increased confidence in expression
• emotional release and clarity
• a sense of freedom and lightness
• deeper connection to themselves and others
• a natural relationship with sound, chanting, and devotion
This is not something added to you | It is something uncovered.
-------------------------------------
A soul-lead approach
This work is guided not just by technique, but by presence.
Ahīshā works intuitively, meeting each participant where they are. Rather than focusing on “fixing the voice,” the work gently reveals what is beneath the holding.
From this place, expression begins to reorganise naturally. What emerges is not a “better voice,” but a more honest and aligned one.
-------------------------------------
Devotion & Sacred Sound
While this space is not religious, it is deeply rooted in:
• presence
• non-duality
• the yoga of love
Sound becomes more than expression.
It becomes:
• a way to connect
• a way to soften
• a way to offer
The day closes in Kirtan, where individual voices come together in a shared, immersive experience of sound and connection.

Why This Guide Exists
Almost everyone believes something about their voice that simply isn’t true.
At some point in childhood many of us were told we could not sing, or we learned to stay quiet in a room full of louder voices.
Over time the voice becomes cautious, controlled, or silent.
But the voice is not a talent.
It is a natural function of being alive.
This guide will help you gently reconnect with the sound that was never meant to be silenced.
